No Preservatives; How do you do that?

Dear Mehmet,

 The rosemary, some of our ingredients, proportions of ingredients and our containers are how we retard any bad bacteria growth or mold. 

 We retain products from every production run and put them through short term and long term microbiology testing.   We have products that are over five years old that have no sign of microbiology problems.  The two years are a maximum allowable by law without the use of parabens.

 So, here is how it works.   The two environments that can foster bacteria growth are water and oxygen.  Our airless containers for our lotions do not permit any air inside starving off one of the environmental factors.   The low water content of our products reduces the water factor.  Rosemary essential oil, vegetable glycerin and higher oil content levels retard any potential growth.  The quality level of those oils minimizing impurities is also a plus.

 Preservatives are basically bactericides killing the bad bacteria in the bottle and the good bacteria on your skin.   So, you should think of the concept of retarding growth with natural ingredients and making the environment hostile to bad bacteria by taking away some of the elements that they thrive on.  Namely oxygen(air) and water.

 Hi. Since i m using your products from overseas, i love them  . Especially Luminos for face and the eye one. But i have a question in my mind, since you are not using any preservatives in your products, how do they out-stand that? And how the shell life of your products be like a year or 2 without using preservatives, are you doing any dermatological and bacteria or some sort of break-out tests after a few months yet?

I d be very appreciated if you enlighten me cause i really like your products. Thanks a lot
